Decorating our Christmas Tree

After the great weekend of cutting trees I had some time to decorate said tree after a very hard time, and a lot of negotiation, selecting which one we wanted.

Tree Felling

We had a beautiful day a few weekends ago so we took advantage of it to cut down some trees on our property. Scott got to use a chainsaw and I kept Rory out of his way. We gave two trees away for people to use as their Christmas tree and we saved one for ourselves! We have a lot more open space now which is very nice!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

A new tradition has started... Ugly Christmas sweaters!

My dear sister Emily created Scott's sweater out of a little girls dress, under the candy canes it says "yummy" which makes it more hilarious

Thanksgiving!

Scott and I have a lot to be thankful for! To name a few: our savior, our health, our house, our family, eachother, our dog... the list could go on! We had three full days of Thanksgiving, Thursday at the Grady house with the Bogenhagen family, Friday with the Dieringer family, and Saturday with the Grady family. I only captured pictures of the Grady family thanksgiving this year.

Naomi's Birthday!

For Naomi's brithday we spent some time with her and friends, listening to music at Brocach in Milwaukee. Scott and I had their Rueben sandwiches which were awesome!

Costume Party!

Scott's co-workers had a costume party over the weekend. After much deliberation Scott and I decided to go as Indiana Jones and Marion, from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I made my shirt with puffy paint, sewed up Scott's shirt to fit him better and the pants were St. Vinnys special!

Caramal Apples and Pumpkins

Our tradition continued with Kevin and Maria, only this time we invited over two other couples to join in the fun! Brandon and KC, and Brian and Theresa joined us in our caramal apple and carving pumpkin fun!

Family Room

Scott and I had off one monday in October so I could start another treatment for my RA and we stopped at a local store that was going out of business and found some cheap paint. So we decided to get the rest of the paint for our family room and our kitchen. We got the family room done but we still need to get that hideous wall paper off the kitchen walls.

We pulled out the carpet, painted the ceiling and bottom white, with the top a straw color
