Agility Competition

A wee little dog competed. He was so small that they had a hard time getting the starting obstacle low enough for him.

Agility Class

Rory trying to master the weave
Scott has been training Rory in agility class since fall started. She is really starting to get the hang of it. You can tell she gets mentally drained when the class is coming to an end. Scott is doing a great job making it fun for her.
Mason, showing us the command "spot"
Her friend Mason is the star of the class. Allison is his master and she does a really good job of working with him. We went and saw her and Mason compete this last weekend, it was an intense experience, but a lot of fun!

Halloween

Flo and Myhem
Scott and I were once again invited to his co-workers costume party. I was a pregnant Flo and Scott was girl out running Mayhem. I gave him the black eye by punching him, just kidding it was makeup.

23 and 24 Weeks

Getting bigger!

How Far Along: 24 weeks, I missed a 23 week update so here are two in one.

Total Weight Gain: 12lbs, still having the backaches.

Gender: Girl! I have a worry that when "she" arrives "she" will be a "he." Is this a normal worry? I am so worried that I think everything we registered for is gender neutral.

Movement: She is moving a lot. She likes to kick on the left side of my stomach, Saturday morning I woke up and she was on the right side kicking. I felt her flip over to the left side again right before I got up for the day. That was a crazy feeling.

Food Craving: Nothing as of right now. The sweets have subsided, but they still taste pretty good. I can eat chocolate again without having the feeling that I want to puke it up immediately.

Favorite moments: Discussing names between Scott and I. We have a list going but not set on one. The middle name is what I think we'll have a harder time with than the first name. We have finished out birthing class. Let's just say I have seen too many lady parts and have a good idea that I don't want to be seeing others EVER again. I had some help painting the nursery on Saturday. It looks amazing and is the exact color I was going for! I will post pictures when I have it put back together again.

SleepI am semi-sleeping through the night. I feel a little more rested because I don't have to pee in the middle of the night anymore. I will enjoy it while it lasts because I am sure it will be short lived soon.

What I am looking forward to: Finally settling on a name. We are pretty close to her first name. So stay tuned for the next 16 weeks or so to find out when she makes her grand arrival.

Week 22

22 weeks and getting huge

How Far Along: 22 weeks

Total Weight Gain: 12lbs and I am starting to feel the effects. I am tired, and my upper back aches while I sleep, it wakes me up around 4am everyday.

Gender: Girl! Some people have purchased some clothing for her and it is just too cute!

Movement: She is moving a lot. Her favorite times to move are around 7:30 in the morning, after I have eaten something if I am not up and moving around, and when we are settling down for the night. Her kicks and punches are starting to get stronger and more noticeable. I can definitely tell she is putting on more weight and gaining more strength.

Food Craving: Sweets at the end of eating a meal, chocolate is starting to taste better, but I am not really craving anything.

Favorite moments: We are registered! Scott and I took a morning drive to Brookfield to the Babies 'r us and tackled the registry. I was prepared with lists and had a game plan. Scott on the other hand was very overwhelmed with the variety of everything. We started in the car seat aisle and that took a little bit getting used to, for him at least. It was fun to look at all the different options and choices for our little bundle of joy. Scott also had to work this past Saturday so I finished registering at Target.

Sleep: I have been sleeping through the night, but being woken up around 4am because my back hurts. To help me get back to sleep I used to count down from 100 but now I an spelling the states. It helps keep my mind off tasks that need to be done.

What I am looking forward to: Getting the nursery ready, hopefully before the holiday hectic starts. Rory meeting baby girl.
