Craziness is Never Ending!
Sorry abo
ut not being on top of things. Our computer does not like to read cd's
or usb ports so I cannot load pictures easily unless I visit the parents, which I can do laundry and update at the same time, so here is out life in the past few weeks. Scott has been busy working, I have been not so busy looking for jobs and trying to keep the apartment organized. On the weekends it has never stopped. We spent the weekend in the Dells with some friends, went skiing, visited the Kalarhi's indoor theme park
to minigolf,
ate at MooseJaw, and went the casino. Scott was really patient with me and taught me how to ski! I will be hitting the black diamonds soon! I lost miserably at minigolf. We tasted ten micro brews from MooseJaw...they were quite good! Scott won at the casino on penny slots, we came out ahead by two dollars!

We also visited Potowatomi casino in Milwaukee this past week for Scott's birthday. We met some friends at Soblemans, which is an awsome burger place near the Marquette campus. I was the big winner on a slot machine, which are very addicting, not a good thing. Scott played blackjack for a while and he did pretty good. They even had casino war! That is pretty interesting to watch. All in all we came out six dollars ahead!
This last we
ekend we went to an Admirals game/Phil Vassar concert. It was a lot of
fun to see everyone and spend time with the family. We sat in the nosebleeds so we could not hear the concert very well, but it was still good! How can you go wrong with Phil Vassar?!?! The Admirals lost 5 to 1, but Scott got to watch the game on the lower level while getting his hair cut! How awsome is that?! We left a little early because Scott and I went to Darlington, WI for my roommate Nickie's wedding the next day. It was a lot of fun and really nice to see everyone again!
Sara: This one is for you!

Job update
I just got off the phone with the principal at Oostburg and I will know by tomorrow about the job. They have made an offer to another candidate and are waiting for that person to make a decision. I am their second choice for right now. I will be hearing from them tomorrow for sure on their decision. Thank you all for the encouragement!

A reflection of Interview...
I just got back from my first professional interview for the Random Lake/Oostburg PEP Grant Recreation Coordinator position. I have to say it went pretty well. They will let me know by the end of today either way with the position. I am one of three candidates. It is so nerve wracking to go into an interview, much less your first one, with four people listening to what you have to say and scrutinizing your every word and action. I do not know how anyone would find this fun and exilerating. Well I leave you with an update on what is going on in our lives. Scott's birthday is on Wednesday so everyone should call/text him to make it special for him considering he is sick with a cold right now and has to be on call for the ambulance in the coldest days of the year! Have a great day!

Computer Does not like us.
Hi everyone, Here is Mine and Scott's year in review...I only have a few pictures from our year, I hope you enjoy!
January: The year started out with our last semester of classes and a busy semester it was. Scott's birthday was also this month, I made him a romantic dinner.
February: Scott and I celebrated our 5th year since we started dating.
March: Was my birthday. We celebrated by getting cinnoman roles from Perkins and he got me the game Sorry. We also created our registries for our wedding, not as much fun as people think!
April: We continued to plan for the wedding, finalizing guest list and all the other fun stuff!
May: Scott graduated from UW-La Crosse. We moved back home to Port Washington and left our college days behind us. Mom and Dad came to visit making the most of the weekend by biking and going on a brewery tour. They loved it all. We also started our seach for apartments to live in when we got married. This is the month the craziness all started.
June: Was filled with graduation parties, bachellorette parties, weddings, family reunion, working and searching for a job. We sent out the invitations for our wedding and anticipated their return. Sara, Gerardo and Katy Lou arrived and ready to meet the family!
Katy Lou
July: Whirlwind of more graduation parties, wedding showers, and another family reunion. Scott found a job at the Blood Center of Wisconsin working in one of their diagnostic labs...he loves it. Had another wedding to attend. Finalized the head count...had many discussions on seating at the wedding...finished working at the theatre and finalized everything for the wedding. Celebrated Caden's 1st birthday with the family in Illinois.

August: Best Month EVER! We had rehearsal and then we got married! Threw an awesome party, opened gifts. Had a two week honeymoon in Florida. One week on the beach alone, one week in Orlando with Kyle and Krystin! Scott went back to work and I started my internship with West Bend Park Recreation and Forestry Department.

September: The Last of the weddings for the year. Adam and Gina got married, threw an awesome party. Scott and I settled into married life and working.
Bridesmaids!
October: We spent the month working on our budget and learning how to manage money. Getting used to being around each other all the time. We visited Adam and Gina in Madison, went through a giant corn maze...Triennen family farm...google it and be amazed!

November: The craziness started again with the holidays starting with Thanksgiving. Scott kept learning new tests at his job, I kept suceeding at my internship. Clebrated Katie Lou's 1st birthday via blogs! Five different Thanksgiving dinners. Kept trying to work on the whole budget thing. Not as easy as it seems. We purchased tickets down to Costa Rica for May with Naomi. We learned Scott's grandma was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Please pray for her and the family.
Caden starting early!
December: I do not know where to start. We did not even slow down. It was filled with shopping finishing the internship, graduation for Beth from UW-La Crosse. Six different Christmasses. Enjoyed seeing everyone! Wished in the New Year with Kyle and Krystin in Whitewater! May God bless everyone in the next (hopefully not so busy) year to come!
Our first Christmas Tree!
