Naomi's Birthday!

For Naomi's brithday we spent some time with her and friends, listening to music at Brocach in Milwaukee. Scott and I had their Rueben sandwiches which were awesome!

Costume Party!

Scott's co-workers had a costume party over the weekend. After much deliberation Scott and I decided to go as Indiana Jones and Marion, from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I made my shirt with puffy paint, sewed up Scott's shirt to fit him better and the pants were St. Vinnys special!

Caramal Apples and Pumpkins

Our tradition continued with Kevin and Maria, only this time we invited over two other couples to join in the fun! Brandon and KC, and Brian and Theresa joined us in our caramal apple and carving pumpkin fun!

Family Room

Scott and I had off one monday in October so I could start another treatment for my RA and we stopped at a local store that was going out of business and found some cheap paint. So we decided to get the rest of the paint for our family room and our kitchen. We got the family room done but we still need to get that hideous wall paper off the kitchen walls.

We pulled out the carpet, painted the ceiling and bottom white, with the top a straw color

Focus on the fire place. Now we just need to get things on the wall and our floors in!

Mom's Birthday!

Some of us celebrated mom's birthday after church with pizza and pie. She wanted an apple pie so we baked it during lunch and it came out piping hot!

The candles were tipping over and we couldn't figure out why...

Then mom blew out the candles and we found out why. They were melting on the inside because the pie was so hot. It could literally burn on both ends!

There is decorative grass at church that I thought was beautiful. I took some pictures but now I want your opinion as to which one you like the most.
