Our annual get together was at Malorie's house this year. It was a great time to catch up and spend the afternoon together!

The day after the wedding we headed out to the zoo as a family. It was a lot of fun and craziness, resulting in a very tired Beth and Scott.

With a beautiful bride and a handsome groom and God blessing them both, it was a beautiful day, although VERY HOT. It went off without any trouble, we all showed up on time, sweated through our shirts and dresses but at the end of the day they were joined together in marriage. May God bless your time together Tony and Emily!

Time With the Tico and Tica's

I took the week of the Fourth of July off to spend some time with my older sister and her family. They flew in from Costa Rica for my little sister's wedding on July 6th. We went to the "beach" in West Bend to catch some rays and get some swimming in because of the HOT weather we had this summer. We had a lot of fun splashing in the pond, and running through the splash pad.

The Post People Have Been Waiting For...

WE ARE PREGNANT! 

14 weeks pregnant

                                                          Baby G due March 11, 2013!

How Far Along: 15.5 weeks

Total Weight Gain:  1lb according to last doctor appointment

Gender:  ??????? Hopefully finding out in 3 weeks

Movement: None so far, waiting for that first little kick. So very excited for this!

Food Craving: SMARTIES!!!!! Candy in general

Favorite  moments:  Taking the pregnancy test, and sharing the moment with Scott

Sleep:  Every night until week 14 I got up at 2:30 to pee, then restless till the alarm went off. Now I am sleeping through the night and it is glorious! I will enjoy it while it lasts!

What I am looking forward to:  Finding out the gender!

Symptoms: Weeks 1 through 4, hungry all the time. Weeks 4 through 14, nauseous every day all day. Some puking involved. At week 14.5 pants no longer can be buttoned.

Yard Games

Our neighbors son is an arborist and we asked him to take down a tree in our back yard and dead wood the tree in our front yard. He came over Saturday and said he would take all the trees we wanted down and chip them for us. This is what happened... 

Mini Vacation Up Nort

 We headed off to the great north woods on Thursday night to spend the weekend celebrating the marriage of Alex and Sara (Scott's cousin). After the car was packed we jumped in with Rory and took off, we arrived at Midnight, tired but excited to be there. On our way up we made a coffee stop and noticed our trunk was open. Not thinking anything of it we shut it and headed on our way, only to find out my dress flew out and is now somewhere on the highway making a very nice nest/bedding for something else. After some minor panicking, we ran out quick Friday morning to Rhinelander and luckily they had a kohl's where I got a new dress! Thank you Naomi for your input.

Rory learned how to swim, it helped that Mira LOVES the water

Saturday the boys went golfing and us girls stayed behind to play with the dogs in the water. We learned that Rory likes to swim but only because Mira does. I ended up tossing Rory in the lake after Mira, she was a little hesitant the second day on the water, and Scott's wedding ring decided to it also wanted to go for a swim. After searching with a metal detector and Scott's cousin willing to dive for it we found it within 15 minutes of it being lost.

The wedding went off without a hitch, thanks to my tossing of the ring in the water, and was beautiful! Congratulations Sara and Alex! May God bless you in your marriage!
